What we do
Six divisions, one method, applied without exception.
Westwarren Trading is a general trading and supply company operating from the United Arab Emirates. We take physical positions in agricultural inputs, basic industrial chemicals, grains and pulses, steel products and heavy equipment components, and we deliver them into markets across the Middle East, Africa, South and Southeast Asia and beyond.
We are a principal, not an introducer. That distinction matters in practice: it means we contract on both sides, we carry the performance obligation, and we are the party a buyer holds responsible if a grade or a document is wrong. It also means we are selective about what we take on, because every line we quote is a line we have to be able to perform.
Across all six divisions the work follows the same sequence. Qualify the producer or licensed distributor against the specification the buyer actually needs. Fix the parameters, the test methods and the tolerances in writing. Appoint an independent surveyor to sample and analyse before the goods leave. Assemble the certificate set to the letter of the payment instrument. Book stowage, packaging and marking to the discharge port's own requirements, not to a generic standard.
None of that is proprietary. It is simply what a competent desk does, and doing it in the same order every time is the only durable advantage in this trade.
Why the Emirates
The Emirates sit between the fertilizer and chemical capacity of the Gulf, the grain and steel capacity of the CIS and Black Sea, and the manufacturing base of South and Southeast Asia — with demand across Africa, the subcontinent and the wider Middle East on the other side.
For a trading desk that is a practical advantage rather than a slogan. Deep-water container and bulk capacity, free-zone re-export and consolidation, established banking for documentary credits, and a working week that overlaps Asian and European market hours in the same day.
It is also why holding two origins per line is realistic here in a way it is not everywhere: the alternatives are within reach of the same freight market.

Operating principles
Six rules we would rather lose an order than break.
These are not values on a wall. Each one exists because the opposite behaviour is common in this trade and costs buyers money.
01
The specification is the contract
A grade without a test method and a tolerance is an opinion. We write all three, and we accept being measured against them by an independent surveyor.
02
More than one origin, always
Every line we carry is held with at least two qualified sources. A plant outage or an export restriction should change our routing, not the buyer's specification.
03
No substitution without consent
If the agreed grade cannot be delivered, we say so before shipment and offer the alternative in writing. A silent substitution is the fastest way to lose a counterparty permanently.
04
Documents are part of the goods
A clean cargo with a defective document set is a rejected presentation. Documentation is designed against the credit at the point of order, not assembled at the port.
05
Decline rather than improvise
Where a requirement sits outside what we can source and verify properly, we turn it down. A declined enquiry is cheaper for everyone than a claim.
06
One price, explained
Quotations separate goods, freight, inspection and documentation costs so a buyer can see what they are paying for and compare like with like.
How we are organised
Divisions, not departments
Each division owns its origins, its specification library and its inspection routine, because the knowledge that matters in fertilizer does not transfer to steel.
Natural Fertilizers
01Soil amendments and reclamation materials for saline, sodic and depleted soils
Chemical Fertilizers
02Nitrogen, phosphate, potash and compound grades supplied bagged or in bulk
Industrial Chemicals
03Chlor-alkali, acids, oxidisers and solvents supplied to specification with full documentation
Grains & Legumes
04Milling and feed grains, rice and pulses traded on GAFTA and FOSFA terms
Equipment Spare Parts
05Wear parts, engine and hydraulic components identified by part number and machine serial
Steel Products
06Long and flat carbon steel products to ASTM, EN, BS, JIS and API standards
Conduct
Screening happens before the offer, not after the order.
Counterparties are identified and screened against applicable sanctions and restricted-party regimes before we quote. Dangerous goods are classified, declared and packed to the transport code that governs the movement. Agricultural cargoes are handled to the phytosanitary requirements of the importing country, which we confirm rather than assume.
Where a trade would require us to work around a restriction, misdescribe goods, or paper over a specification failure, we do not take it. That is not a compliance posture adopted for a website — it is the only way a trading business survives its first serious dispute.

Work with us
Send a specification, or send us your product.
Buyers get origins, terms and a price. Producers get a straight answer on whether there is demand for the grade in our book.
